Hi, I’m Brooke.  I’m a photographer, a wife, I’m a mom. I’m a Destin native, born and raised. When I was 19 years old, my parents gave me their old film camera and I was hooked. After my freshman year of college, I spent a year in the Caribbean where I tried my hand at underwater photography and fell in love. To be able to combine my two things I love, photography and the beach was a dream come true. After my year in the Caribbean, I spent 3 years at the famed, Brooks Institute of Photography, in California where I earned my BA in fine arts, specializing in photography. At Brooks, I learned the art of photographing people - children and families.  I moved back home to Destin and for the next 8 years, ran and operated, Beachside Photography. Beachside Photography gave me the experience and allowed me the opportunity photograph kids, families and weddings. Since then, I’ve traveled the world, gotten married and started a family. I understand wanting to freeze time and look forward to photographing these moments with your family!
